Derek Chan, research head of Ricacorp Properties, made a concluded forecast for local property market for the whole year. He estimated the property price index to fall almost 1% eventually this year, marking the first decline year after 11 years of upswing. By comparing the decrease to the historic high, housing prices were expected to gross downfall of 5.39% at the year end.
